P: Make it easier to compare two snapshots and to compare one snapshot with current edit

Currently, there is no easy way to compare either two snapshots or to compare one snapshot with the current edit. Both would be very convenient when working with snapshots.

A possible workaround is dragging one edit step from the protocol into the "Before" pane of the Before-After view, but you never know if you picked the right edit step (making a snapshot leaves no trace in the protocol pane), and also you cannot compare two snapshots that way. See discussion in this thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/snapshots-how-to-compare-them-side-by-side/m-p/12684416#M260647

Is it possible to compare snapshots side by side?

The easiest way I can think of is to

Create 2 Virtual Copies of the Master photo that has snapshots

Click on virtual copy 1 and apply snapshot 1

Click on virtual copy 2 and apply snapshot 2

Compare them however way you wish.

Thanks Bob for your prompt response.   That worked.  Thank you
