That clearly doesnàt help us n Europe or Uk, or rest of world. Does anyone know why this option is restricted to North America? That also doesn't make much sense.

I know which is why this is even more frustrating. Why can't
Australia/Europe/UK etc install the Intel version on the exact same
computer running Snapdragon/ARM?

Lightroom Classic is available for arm via emulation in North America though.

I teach how to use Lightroom Classic to thousands of students in Australia and really need a native Snapdragon version so people can use it.  Or at least let the older version be downloaded here in Australia.

There are limitations with drivers and libraries. Classic was originally written for x86 systems and rewriting some of the code is extremely complicated. I think Adobe is banking on Lightroom Cloud for these systems. I don't think there will be any compatibility coming, at least not in the near future...

We need this ASAP, adobe! I'm paying a subscription primarily because I need to use one of the most elementary apps you've created. It's nonsense it wasn't the first one to be supported.

yeah... usually you have to ensure it copies everything and anything, and it starts working after you make sure to keep it in the exact right spot (at least, that was my experience). If you're transferring using OneDrive, it usually doesn't work, so try using a proper file-sharing service rather than cloud storage (USB is the best option, but file-sharing did work for me).
