It works through Prism, just transfer your program folder over from your old Intel laptop over to the new laptop (in the corresponding space just like the old laptop). It doesn't get the updates nor does it get any Creative Cloud support, but at least it sort of works.

I do agree! E noi paghiamo per avere LR Classic! (And we pay to have LRC!)

It looks like it's a purposeful decision from Adobe, as I doubt that they have no resources to develop the Snapdragon SW.

Am I wrong? Hopefully not!

I purchased a ARM laptop for several reasons, and before buying it I checked the compatibility with Adobe photographic apps, but, as I deem happened to many users, I misunderstood the "LR compatible" as " LRC compatible"!

Here in Italy I can't find Lightroom classic as available app for my Windows on ARM PC (snapdragon elite). Why the emulted version is not available everywhere?

ADOBE please unlock this surreal situation!

Hello everyone

I recently bought an ASUS ProArt PZ13 HT5306QA-LX002W 13" Copilot+ PC - but just leaned that I can't install LRC on this device. Photoshop, no problem, Lightroom no problem. But Classic is a no go - anyone has any idea why? I feel more secure and "home" in Classic, and therefore would prefere to continue to work with this 🙂

Thanks in advance

Already covered in the thread I'm merging this to.

@lawrence_3442

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", contact adobe support.

there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

I'm going to unsubscribe Adobe, from France it's a mess without a native solution with arm Snapdragon XPlus...

Hi - Would you mind giving me a bit more detail on how to do this? Which folder do I copy to the new machine and where do I find it? Thanks so much.

I did have a look. Although you can find many editors I couldn't find one that managed the collection and allowed me to organise like LrC. Having it all in one tool seems to be uncommon.

An appaling situation. Considering the money you pay Adobe, you'd think they'd upgrade their programs to run on the latest computers. Maybe there's an alternative program to use?

I found that copying over from an Intel installation may leave you with an imperfect program with unpredictable bugs.

Also, you don't get updates through Creative Cloud.

Basically, a real pain.
