P: Turn off display of milliseconds

How to turn off display of milliseconds (capture time). Milliseconds are useless to me, but they clutter the grid view and make it impossible to quickly review capture time for long burst of bird photos when trying to determine when a burst ends and a new beginning. Just want to turn off the milliseconds and keep the seconds (as in the previous version)

It looks to me Adobe in satisfying pro photographers decided to add milliseconds to the capture time even when the photos imported via the auto-import process (and sync from Lightroom mobile) don’t have milliseonds.
Adobe could had easily add a switch to only add milliseconds to photos from cameras having burst mode of more than 1 per second.
If photos don’t have milliseconds ie 000 then don’t display. If photographers need them, then auto-display the extra 4 digits.

I have enough on my hands to visually inspect photos for chronological order by seconds. I don’t need to overload my brain to check chrono order by milliseconds.
I regularly send my photos to either Adobe Express or Canva to add in text and reimport the output. Now I have to add in milliseconds to maintain a chrono order to the original. Added keystrokes that’s unnecessary.
Example below ..

This brings up a peeve .. Before adding the milliseconds one only need to tab after initiating edit capture time to cause the cursor to jump to the the day field of the Corrected Time of the Edit Capture Time window. Now I have to move the cursor to the day and click it before I can begin the editing process.
Note: I have lots of tickets and receipts I capture and sync the capture time to date/time of the issuance of tickets, receipts etc. Why Adobe removed the quick tab to day field puzzles me ..

To edit capture time before its Alt-MTT<return> <tab> (change date/time) <return>, <right arrow> to move to the next photo and repeat. ..

The need to move the cursor to the day field to click and begin editing just break whatever smooth rhythm as before when changing a batch of photos’ capture time.

Now everytime I need to adjust capture time to a batch of photos, I curse the programmer who either intentionally or otherwise remove the “jump on tab”, under my breathe 😉

Before once this pop up .. you just need to tab and the cursor will jump to the day field of the corrected time. Now you need move the cursor to the day field, click it to beginning the editing process.

One more .. even if I am interested in changing the milliseconds, I can’t jump to the milliseconds from the AM/PM selector with the arrow key. I need to tab.
Once I get there (at the milliseconds) I can’t add my milliseconds  until I <delete> <delete><delete>

I have exactly the same question. I understand that milliseconds on display can be helpful, but for my work they are confusing and distracting. Please make milliseconds optional.

Agree.

Most of us don’t need or want unnecessary information taking up valuable space in an already tight display.

Give us the option to turn it off; those who want/need this ‘feature’ can leave it on.
