Feature Requests

Now that many of us are on iOS 18, I believe we would all appreciate the integration of its new features in concert with Lightroom, such as an Lr Camera launch option in the Shortcuts app and as a Lock Screen toggle 🙂
We need to be able to search shared albums in Lightroom so that all team members could easily find a specific image by keyword, tag, attribute, ...etc.
Please can you update Cloud based Lightroom so that we can find photos that are Not in any Album. Also it would be very useful when viewing a photo the information panel included WHICH album the photo was In. This feature has been sorely needed for such a long time and would really help those of us who like to keep our images organised. THANKS!
Adding a copy and paste settings option to the gallery view would enable batching of this process across multiple selected images.
I would like Lightroom Mobile to have the ability to crawl the device photo library and mark old photos that have been imported as such, not just photos that have been imported from that specific device. It already quickly detects duplicates when you try and import duplicates, some sort of workflow to do this in the background and mark them would be nice to have.
I would like to see more filter options on the device tab. A few I would use are:- Photos marked as imported or not- Camera body/ lens- Filter out exports from the Lightroom app to the system app. Would help avoid importing edits that came from Lightroom back into Lightroom
Hello, When Firefly will be available in Lightroom Cloud, please ? Have a nice day ! ^^ {Post moved to correct board by Moderator}
In instances where a large batch of photos involves different lighting conditions (indoors, outdoors, too dark, too light, etc.), it would be nice for Lightroom to be able to find all photos with the same lighting conditions so that I can auto-apply my color/lighting edits to the others that were taken in the same spaces. This would be very helpful for event photographers whose photos were taken in a variety of spaces and lighting conditions.
Adobe - hello, I’m not sure if it’s possible or not but I’d love to have a left handed option for Lightroom cc on the iPad - where all of the settings are on the left. It’s especially tough when using the Apple Pencil with it crossing over the image. I know that’s a huge ask and probably not in the pipeline but thought I’d throw it out there. Thanks. Jeff
This would be a game changer!
Please add b&w gradient map feature to Lightroom/Lightroom Mobile for high contrast black and white images.
I would love to see in-app raw->jpeg conversion. I import raw pictures, edit some of them and they keep sitting in cloud forever. Once in a while I find out they occupy too much storage, so I have to: Actual workflow: Filter and select raws Export to jpegs Delete raws from cloud Import previously saved jpegs Spend couple hours reinstating photos into now empty albums Cry about lost tags and so on Workflow I would live to have with the better result: Filter and select raws Chose "convert to jpeg", set conversion parametres Be happy
I have some payd presets and sometime it add them twice or more. It is really annoying to delete manually dublicates . Also will be really good to have a choose more theme one preset or group of presets to delete and sort them. That's will be awesome I you will do .
I think I missed something, or the only way to copy and paste settings from one photo to another in Lightroom for iPad, is through a buried menu item. Make it simpler (buttons, gestures…) to copy and paste settings, as well as auto sync. What about a simple copy settings from previous photo button as well? It’s as tho Lightroom Mobile is missing its batch features, which is its raison d’être.
It seems this still has not yet come over from LRC? Is this planned? There are quite a few posts asking for it but just "not available" responses. Is this the correct forum to try to get interest on this?
Lightroom mobile should have a feature where adding keywords to images with keywords that have been used already in other pictures show up as a list that we can easily click. This would be much faster than having to type each keyword repetitively. Another alternative idea to keywords is to have a keyword suggestion popup as we type and we can select it instead of having to type out the entire word(s)
I can use voice control with my native iphone camera to take a photo by saying "tap take picture". I would like to be able to take a photo within lightroom mobile by a voice command as well. How to do this?
I need a tool to identify duplicate images across multiple collections. I'm looking for a software that can compare sets of photos and highlight: shared images, and unique images that only exist in one collection. This would function similarly to a 'Pathfinder tool' for image collections.
I think LRM is great and use it to cull and edit all of my photos. As I import into LR (desktop) from my memory card, I add the photos to a new collection that is synced to LRM. I can do 80 - 90% of my editing on my iPad Pro 12.9 inch with Apple pencil. I do review all photos later on my desktop to ensure everything looks good before I print, export or publish. As I said, I am very happy with LRM but would really like to see the ability to sync adjustments to multiple photos at once. It would reduce the time required on my desktop and make mobile editing more efficient.
Hi there, could you please add the same renaming options to the DNG-Export on iPad as on Desktop? More options (the same as in Classic) are welcome and requested, but feature-parity between the different Cloud-based-solutions is the baseline (JPG-Export is fine and has renaming options). Cheers Guido
Just allow Auto settings and mask update for multiple photos on the mobile app. Instead we have to use touch marcos to automate the process.
Hello, I'm sure I was once able to search by Synced Collection's name also in Lightroom Mobile on my iPhone and iPad, right? But I can't anymore on Mobile. I still can on my Mac on Lightroom Classic. What takes? I have 67.500 photos synced and hundreds if not thousands of Synced Collections. I can't browse them fast and easy. I need to find a Synced Collection via search. Could that be reasonable request to ask? Thanks!
Probably one of few, if any, that would be requesting Hasselblad RAW support for Lightroom Mobile but I like to work on the go... 100C back isn't exactly quick but I typically work from my phone and photos on servers.
To manage the Cloud storage, "Archive to local storage" is a great function. However, people tags are lost during the process and it's a shame. Example: I archive an old album to free space, but I want be able to find pictures when I search locally "John Doe". Suggestion: maybe people tags could be changed in normal tagged when archived, so search will be possible and identification work will not be lost. Maybe I didn't find the feature… please let me know Sea also : https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-discussions/does-lightroom-search-find-locally-archived-photos/m-p/14683913#M92201
