Please show foto information directly on the preview of a foto in addition to the info panel on the right. At lease iPad LR CC shows if a foto is raw. I am talking about the feature which can be switched on in LR Classic CC by pressing "i" key
It would be great to add an option to disable Apple heavy handed HDR image processing when taking JPG format photos in Lightroom Camera. If Apple camera doesn't allow it maybe a good way would to achieve this would be to temporarily save a DNG file and then converting it through the Adobe raw conversion engine. I hate Apple image processing and would really love to take non HDR pictures without using so much storage space
Hey! It would be extremely useful to have the option for exporting the files with the Custom name + Original file number name format (which is available on desktop versions such as Lightroom Classic CC) As of now there is only custom name or original file options but no combination which is useful. So requesting feature / improvement for export: Custom name + Original file number.
Hello, I don't have premium version of the app but I would if I get what I need. I don't know if this feature is already there in the app or not... I want to be able to crop videos(not to be confused with cutting video length)... What I mean is zooming into the video and saving it like that (with the same crop effect applied on all frames of the video).
Palm rejection on Lightroom should work the same as Fresco.
I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to filter for images that are being edited with HDR enabled (ie, the HDR toggle). Currently, I can only find a file type > HDR filter. That just finds Lightroom-created images that are HDR composites—i.e., an auto-bracketed image shot and composited with the Lightroom camera, or multiple images manually bracketed and merged using Lightroom. It doesn't look at whether the photo is being edited in HDR, as they're ultimately two entirely different definitions of the term. I realize this may just need to be a "stay better organized with keywords and albums" thing, and if so, all good. But it'd be useful if there's a way: I tend to edit them at least partly on my phone (better XDR screen), and will often end up with just one or two out of a largely SDR batch to run with HDR. I usually end up exporting them differently from the rest of the batch as well, given HDR + file format fussiness. Anyone found anything, or have strategies
Hi there it would be nice to be able to get an overlay of the exposure information in iOS (speed, aperture, iso) in the details view. Urgently you can only cycle between histogram and general info (date and such) but not the exposure info like you can in the grids view. thanks for listening. Romain
I would value a darken, lighten or overlay blend mode for healing brush or cloning work. This would help in the editing out of horizon halos.
Hi, im using Lightroom on my pc as well on my iPhone. Over time, this program has become my standard. However, one or two functions are missing. One would be, for example, the possibility of using color gradients when editing the images on the mobile phone in order to give the images even more expression.
I have created multiple versions of the same image using Lightroom CC. Is there a way of selecting two or more of these versions to display them side by side or horizontally above one another? This is easy to do in Lightroom classic using the virtual copy funtion, but I can not see how to do this in the CC version.
I'd like to see the auto -import settings in Lightroom on iOS extended so I can automatically import from a folder of my choice. This would allow Lightroom to automatically import files downloaded from my camera to my iPad by Cascable. Also I don't want to automatically import from the Camera Roll as I export to that before posting to Instagram and I don't want to reimport such exported images.
Sharing my frustration for a search feature into lightroom shared album
Firstly 90% of the time I am using Lightroom Classic on my desktop which I can whizz around quite happily. It is when I am out mobile I have come across (what for me is) an issue. There are 2 regular situations where I have to get photos out fast but they have different export requirements. My workflow when mobile is shoot, convert images to jpg in camera, download to my tablet. Open LR, edit as required and export. In LR classic I have over a dozen own-created export presets but on the tablet, I get offered JPG large JPG small or custom. So I choose custom and enter the required settings but can see no way to save them to use again. I would really like to be able to save the settings so I can just select them in the future without having to go through and change everything - edit picture then select export as sport or news rather than having to go through custom every time. Yes, the custom settings remain the same as the last lot entered but the
Love the HDR feature, but it would be way better if I had access to hardware stabilization, even just in general. The 15 Pro Maxs 5x OIS is insanely good and would help a lot in many shots.
I would love to open Lightroom Mobile and see a tab for curated photo memories like for photos taken on special occasions or photos taken on this date over the years. Some way to present photos that I have not seen in a while.
I would be able to compose my images better through cropping if while using the crop tool, I could NOT see the rest of the image outside of the crop lines. That way I could preview what it will look like as I go. Is this something you can add to Lightroom and or Photoshop? Thanks and keep up the amazing work. -Briggs
I'm editing some photos in HDR on mobile, and wondering if it's possible to change the HDR stop limit on the mobile app. I can change it on desktop (below the normal "Light" controls when editing in HDR). However, can't seem to find it on mobile (iOS or iPadOS). I see find HDR on/off, previewing and editing SDR rendering, and visualizing HDR, but not HDR stop limiting. Any HDR stop limiting that is put in place on desktop is respected/shown on mobile—the histogram shows that—but would like to be able to actually change the setting! Not sure if it's a missing feature or I'm just missing something. Using: Lightroom mobile v9.1.0, iPhone 12 Desktop editing on MacOS, Lightroom v7.1.2, MacBook Pro M1
Hello - I am using Lightroom Mobile on an Ipad (my subscription is for the cloud based version of Lightroom) . I am using the slideshow function with both photos and videos. The slideshow plays the photos but when it transitions to a video clip it will not automatically play the video clip unless I hit 'play'. Is there an option to automatically play the clip during a slideshow on the mobile version? Thanks!
I'm relying quite heavily on the great tool that adobe provides in color.adobe.com to balance the colours on some of my photos. It would be fantastic to have it (or a similar visualisation) directly in LightRoom. This way we would be immediately able to see how the colours are balanced in our photos. It could be a alternative display for the histogram, for instance it could be displayed using the angle to represent the colours, the distance between the center and the data point to represent the brightness, and the intensity/opacity of that point to represent the amount of pixels corresponding to that colour/brightness. (I've been using DarkTable for a few months before switching to LightRoom Cloud and mobile, this is probably the missing tool in LightRoom)
I'd like to see Adobe add the MacOS system share sheet to Lightroom on desktop. Currently, it does not have the ability to use the built-in OS share sheet (allowing sharing to email, messages, other apps, added plugins, workflows that you create via Shortcuts, etc)—you can only export the file to the hard drive or use one of the built-in Adobe connections/album/link sharing. This contrasts with the mobile versions for iPadOS/iOS, where the Lightroom share button allows you to choose an export format/settings which then feeds directly into the OS share sheet. The OS share sheet is quite useful for day-to-day sharing of photos and files, and especially nice when paired with the first step of going through Lightroom's export settings. It’d add a lot more flexibility, particularly given the ability to create your own workflows via Shortcuts. This is somewhat related to the “Lightroom Desktop integration with Apple iCloud Photos library” idea, but they function separately
I've recently begun importing into Lightroom cc instead of classic so that I can take advantage of the cloud storage and have raw files everywhere. However, I can't find a way to enlarge the thumbnails in the add photos screen. With classic, you are able to select individual images before importing and view them larger which is really helpful when comparing two similar photos for which one is sharper. I really don't want to have to import every picture on my card in order to decide if its sharp enough to keep. is there a command or option in settings to allow this that I am overlooking? thanks.
When you group photos into a stack it seems to be pretty random. Can it be made that the first photo clicked will be the cover photo for the stacked group? Everytime I group into stack I need to go into the stack and reset the cover photo
Request: Improve legibility of Text Images using either PNG or JPG format in Lightroom Mobile preview mode. Issue: The preview of a Text Image is not legible when synced with a collection in Lightroom Mobile. Workflow Impact: Customer cannot use preview mode to quickly scan through many images in Lightroom Mobile. Instead, they have to open each file in order to read it and then close the file. This is very time consuming. This issue does not occur with Photo Images. Original Images: The images were taken by the device and, therefore, are original images and not “Smart previews”. When they are viewed in Lightroom.Adobe.com and press the “I’ icon it confirms that by saying “Original Image”. Software: Platform and OS version: Windows 10 v: 10.0.19045 Lightroom Classic (13.1) 13.1 [ 202312111226-41a494e8 ] IOS Device: iPad Pro 10.5 Inch iPadOS 17.2 Lightroom v 9.1.0.40E571/123 Basic steps to reproduce the problem: Create Text Image in Photoshop/Import to Lig
Request: Have Adobe customers receive an email notification when someone posts a comment or like in a shared album. Issue: Customer only receives notifications when they have the application open through a badge on the bell icon. Workflow issue: An email notification would enable customers to respond much more quickly when someone posts a comment or a like. This will likely result in them opening the Adobe applications more often: increasing usage. With generative fill and AI, this will be increasingly important.
Request: Change color to grey background like Exif data for both the Photo Info overlay information and File Type in Lightroom Mobile in preview mode. Issue: Customers cannot view the Photo Info or File Type overlay information in Lightroom Mobile for slides with a white background, especially in Preview/grid mode. Workflow issue: This is especially disruptive when scrolling through text slides with a white background in preview mode. Note: The overlays, EXIF data, and Flags and ratings, Contributor do not have this issue
