Need the ability to apply copied setting or presets in batch mode to a selected group of images.
Need the ability to delete photos with one touch.
Hello. LR Desktop is getting so close to being at parity for editing features with LR Classic! One thing that is still missing though is a manual option for lens corrections. Currently, if there is no matching profile for your lens, you cannot resort to correcting distortion and vignetting manually like you can in LR Classic and ACR. The vignette tools in the Effects tab or not an adequate substitute for manual vignette correction - they seem to work differently than the manual vignette correction tools found in LR Classic and ACR and do not produce the same results. Please add these lens correction tools back to LR Cloud!
After the upgrade to Lightroom iOS 8.0 on an iPhone 13 Max Pro, even though all images were previously stored locally in full size, on first app run it said it needed to do some "housekeeping" and reindexing, and suddenly now needs to re-download thousands of images (that were previously there, locally, full size). Furthermore, and to make things worse, it seems to be stuck and there is no progress in the sync/download count. The same is happening on my iPad. There should be no need to re-download the albums/images to local storage, and this never happened in previous upgrades. Why is this happening? Ideas? Solutions?
Feature request for Lightroom on iPad: when exporting a DNG, add an option to enable lossy compression. Why this is valuable to me: To save storage space and bandwidth, I like to store photos that aren't critically important as compressed DNG files so I can still have some of the editing flexibility of raw without the large file size. In trying to create an iPad-only workflow, this is the final thing hanging me up because I can't find a way to convert files to compressed DNG without going through a computer.
Apple now supports RAW format for Ultra Wide (UW) lens: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211965 Please add support for DNG format for the Ultra Wide (UW) lens on the iPhone LR camera app, then LR users can use DNG format for all three lenses without having to open the Apple camera app. Thanks !
Love the iPad version of Lr. As a long time Lrc user, I'm stoked to now have an iPad that can crank out content! Are we able to get double tap functionality with the Apple Pencil? Being able to redo with the pencil would be game-changing!
I would like to have the possibility to edit EXIF data in Lightroom CC. For example the data for the used lens and the used camera. Currently it is only possible to edit the data of the file. This would be very usefull, when you e.g. import scans from fotos that were taken with an analogue camera. Or if you import pictures that were taken with a lens, that does not report its type (like when you are using adapted vintage lenses) I currently I use an external software (EXIF Editor), and import the pictures afterwards. This is (I think) possible in Lightroom Classic, but not in Lightroom CC Desktop
Usually with low f stops and strong subject seperation from the background, adding a mask using the select subject works very fast, accurately and easily. However, if there is strong color or light contrast the subject seperation begins to look unreal when changing the mask settings. Is there a way to add/ create a type of buffer mask, where you can create an 'edge mask' around your subject and it can be graduated away from the subject? Or possibly, just adding an option to scale the size of the subject selection mask so you can make it slightly larger than the subject or slightly smaller, then can make adjustments from there?
As you are implementing more and more video editing modules for videos in Lightroom, which I like a lot, it would be great to have a better workflow to use the videos after editing them there. It would be great to open the video in premiere pro (like photoshop for images) to use it in a project.
Would love the ability to create in-camera multiple and double exposures using the lightroom mobile app 🙏
Can you please make our brush presets available in Lightroom Mobile? I can access my presets but not my brush presets.
I would really love this program more if there was a possibility to use it with offline files/custom location for the files. So you would be able to choose a location on your drive, on which the edits/images will be saved. Thats the way Lightroom Classic works, this makes so much more sense. I want to use the more modern software (which is Lightroom CC) but this missing feature pretty much forces me to handle files seperately to the editing software. My current workflow is this: - Import images with Lightroom Classic - Organize, filter and flag images in Lightroom Classic - Choose specific images to edit in Lightroom CC And when my 20GB cloud storage is full, I have to make a backup of the edits and delete them from the CC catalog because 20GB is nowhere enough. (I know about the possibility to upgrade to 1TB, I actually dont want the edits on the cloud at all, only final images)Does someone have any workflow tips? / Whats your import/organizing workflow?
Hello, I would like to use Lightroom downloader on my MAC M1. I download it from Photo Editor | Online Photoshop Lightroom (adobe.com) Sadly, this software is still compile for MAC with Intel CPU; Means that the software use Rosetta to run on a Mac M1 or M2. Running this software run well on my M1 but after a short time, the software saturate and crash. the debug indicate that this is due to the usage of Rosetta. When Adobe will release this software for the new MAC cpus ? Thanks Note: I finally decide to use this software on a Windows machine to avoid the crash issue and be sure to have a backup of my datas.
Love the Landmark lookup feature on my IPhone 12 Pro. It would be great if we could do the same in Lightroom.
Please develop a feature in Lightroom CC that allows bordered printing to standard sheet sizes, such as formatting an uncropped 3:2 image to 6.67 in × 10 in (1880 px x 2850 px @300 px per inch) on a 8.5 in × 11 in (U. S. Standard Letter) sheet of paper. That feature would allow printing an uncropped image to a standard sheet as well as printing an uncropped image with a specific unprinted (white) border width (i.e. 0.75 in on all sides) inside a standard mat opening for a professional, museum-quality presentation. Currently, that such formatting requires cumbersome steps to export an image from Lughtoom to Photoshop, then exporting from Photoshop a final formatted print file.
Often I don't have a good enough mobile internet connection. But I like to do edits on my mobile devices. So the option to store "smart previews" locally is great. But it does not work if I have original files in the cloud, then it will just download the whole files with the "store locally" option. And yea, most mobile devices don't have much more than 1TB available and it's just not always necessary to store the 50 megapixel raw files on the phone. So having a choice when hitting that "store locally" button between "download smartpreviews" or "download originals" is a must.
An idea to have the video crop features in Lightroom. At the moment while editing video in Lightroom there are no options for straightening/cropping the video clips. Nice to have this feature.
If you are on a very slow connection when traveling, or no connection, you run the risk of local database corruption and losing everything. My short term solution is to keep all cards until the images have fully synced; and then only risk the work done on the images. Therefore, if connection is below some metric, or sync is predicted to take longer than X, we really need some sort of local backup/recovery process for Lr in case of database corruption. Tim
So picture this: A FAVORITES section for your favorite presets, no more having to scroll around looking for that ONE preset you constantly use----BAM there's now a section to save and rearrange your favorite presets. carry on
Hello, we want to be able to add copyright expiry reminders on to photos to ensure we are respecting consent periods. Is this a feature? And if not, can it be? Platforms like Pics.io have this.
I shoot 9:16 with my phone camera, as it makes it easier to compose for full-screen social media posts. It still captures the full 3:4 image, and inside iOS photos it's possible to tap "crop" and then extent the image or move left/right. Unfortunately once imported into Lightroom mobile, the 9:16 crop becomes baked in.
At the end of the day, I go through the photos app, delete what I don't like, then use the share sheet to import my faves into Lightroom. Unfortunately this removes the depth map, so I have to open Lightroom first and then import them. It's a small step, but changes my workflow surprisingly signifcantly.
Please add the feature in Lightroom Classic to Lightroom Cloud to adjust a selected slider such as "Exposure" with the + and - keys. I use this feature all the time in Classic, and it makes it almost impossible for me to use the new Lightroom. Also, please add an autosync toggle like in Classic to sync changes across all selected images in a timeline instead of having to copy and paste. I would love if some of the keyboard shortcuts such as Crop could be matched up, but that is probably asking too much. Thanks!
I think it would be so beneficial to have a masking feature that's similar to the lasso thing found in photoshop to select a subject to edit - I hate the brush and find it a bit tedious especially when I'm editing without a mouse
