Feature Requests

When I share my pictures in the web through the public web link the keywords don't show. They can be seen in the private link but not in the public link. How do I get them to show? Thanks in advance.

I would like to see some built in functionality to use the depth data that is captured by the iPhone camera (and any android camers for that matter) to adjust the bokeh like in the native Apple Photos app. This would be a great addition to the already present depth map support in masking, although I think this should be in a more accessible UI location than masking.  This would help my current workflow since I often snap a photo in iOS. When I go to edit in Lightroom I decide the bokeh is not exactly how I wanted. To adjust I currently have to: 1. Delete the image from Lightroom 2. Go to iOS photos and adjust the bokeh 3. Reimport the photo into Lightroom   It would be great to handle this all in Lightroom

Trackpad support was added to the iPad a few years ago. I personally use the Magic Keyboard a lot. I'd love for someone to go through Lightroom for iPad and add right click context menus where it makes sense (mimic the desktop version). I find myself right clicking often out of habit from other apps and from my desktop workflow and it doesn't work. 

I bought the premium for the Lightroom hoping that I will get back all of my presets because I accidentally deleted my Lightroom (those presets were so cool) so can you pls fix where all of the presets that has been saved will sync And another is that can you put a search history on discovery and make it easier to search for author and publishers 

Hello. I ask you to implement a function in lightroom to change the cache storage disk (through the settings of the lightroom itself or to pull the settings from the system settings) I also ask you to return the ability to put flags and ratings on photos shared for access and editing - this sucks, that for work you need to perform a round of saving - uploading to your new folder - putting down ratings - sharing to the same person who sent the same files. It's inconvenient for collaboration

Feature request for Lightroom mobileUse case: Making picks and rating photos -- while using an iPadIt would be great if the keyboard shortcuts I already use at my Mac would also work on the iPad. I frequently use a keyboard for my iPad (I think a lot of other iPad ninjas do too) and if I could use keyboard shortcuts to make my ratings and picks, things would really fly!

Hello,I don't know how is this not possible or implemented as normal. I waste so much time every time i want to delete photos or photos because a message pops up every time. Why there is not an option to remove that and why do i need to read the same message every time?I know that i can select multiple images or mark them, but sometimes I don't want or can't do that, and i don't want to read the same pop-up message again and again.Please implement an option to turn it off. Thank you

"Choose Best Photos" is not available in either downloadable desktop version. Please add this feature.   I love this feature, but it is only available in the web browser or mobile app. To use this with my workflow, I have to create a Collection and sync it to the cloud. Then switch over to the app or web browser to use this feature. Seeing it in two of the cloud versions, I am disappointed that it isn't at least in the downloadable cloud based Lightroom version.

On my new phone I noticed that the import behavior when adding images from the camera role has changed. Previously I could tap an image and it would instantly open. Now when I tap the image, it's selected and the blue "Add" button appears. Clicking that adds the image to the Lightroom library, from which I then have to pick and tap it again to be finally able to add it. What was one step before is now three steps.   I noticed on my old phone that it still had the old behavior and there was an additional option in the import dialog, "Select Mode". Toggling that option switches between the two behaviors, so all good. However my new phone doesn't have this option. I even deleted the app on the old phone, reinstalled it again and now the option is also gone there.   What happened to this option? Why was it removed for new users? It's a huge step back in usability.

For light room I don't need anything crazy just want to add audio tracks to video. My use case is small doesn't justify a high end program. 

Hi, everyone! Well, I believe some of you guys have done this suggestion before, but it would be amazing if the next update for mobile Lightroom have the option to organize the pictures in catalogs, just as Lightroom Classic.

Pleeeeeeease make a method of deleting photos faster with just one tap while editing in lightroom mobile. Today I only use my iPad with editing tool and I think it's horrible to need to tap organize > delete. Make a one-touch delete option and disable deletion confirmation, as there is already a deleted items folder so the user can retrieve their accidentally deleted items. thanks!

I really enjoy using my iPad to look through and organize my photos becuz I can see them in a grate size an zoom in so intuitively.  if there could be a way to cut down on the amount of steps it to took to get to the folder organizer . A thre finger drag and drop would be great   Thanks for your time                   -Gina 

Please add a visible "Paste Settings" button on the top right as we are editing pictures. This would immensely improve most people workflow. Ideally you should create the ability to add custom button on the top right corner for various uses, everyone works in a slightly different way and customisation is important.   This is regarding Lightroom on iPad   Thank you

1-  After masks are made in LR 11.4.1 I need to turn those masks into a selection "marching ants style" just     like (command clicking the mask does in PhotoShop)I can not find a method for doing this currently.....2- In the masks submenu where it has the "Intersect Mask With" feature It should  display the masks that you have created as selectable masks along with the standard Sky-Subject-Brush etc. This would let you work o detaileded or intricate hand created masks.My wish list for next releases! Thanks and by the way the new AI masking is incredible!

Can we get an undo button for accidental star in review mode. 

I would suggest that Lightroom CC either becomes lighter and more clearly focussed to mobile devices or to get rid of it altogether.   Every time I forget which one I can use for a contact sheet, and every time I end up duplicating my effort.   More apps ≠ more better.

Adobe, it's not even hard to develop it, it's easy in fact.Make it possible, please, this is really necessary for many photographers.

It seems, the now implemented automatic recomputation of masks is not implemented on iPad. But it is implemented for lightroom desktop. Is this feature plant for one of the next releases. I do really not understand why feature sets are not the same within the lightroom eco system, hence for iPad and macOS we have the same Chip, Calculation power, M1 CPU etc...

It would be convenient to be able to filter on date picture taken or date picture last modified

Please consider to introduce the possibility to display RGB and/or L*a*b* values under the histogram as in LrC. In my view, this feature would be particularly useful  together with masking tools to fine tune image color balance.  Imagine taking a photo of a bride in the shadow of a tree. It is very likely you need to correct the white dress yellow/green cast. Or, at least, check it out. Since the final outcome of my work is prints, although I work on a calibrated pro grade monitor, numbers are the only way to make sure prints are consistent. Since Lr has been greatly improved (the new masking tools are very welcome), I am considering quitting LrC and moving the whole of my work to Lr, taking advantage of the possibilities of the cloud ecosystem, one for all sharing the images with clients.   Is this feature already in the developers team list? In case it is, is it scheduled?   Thank you so much for your great work: I do appreciate it!

Hello I would love to see the ability to save or go back to the last stored settings for the customised watermark feature.  I use the text watermark mainly but fairly regularly need to then switch to the graphic watermark. Currently you have to manually set those respective settings up again if you change either. It would be great to have the text / graphics remember their individual settings.  thank you     

I'd like to request a feature in the next update: - duplicate photos on Lightroom iOS app This can be done on the desktop and would imagine it can be made possible on the app. I like to be able to make different edits of the same photo and it would be amazing if I could do this without having to use the desktop. Thank you 🙏
