Can we please somehow include color management for the light room mobile app x-rite have an kit that allows there colortrue app to be used but I'm sure there are other ways.. just being able to load in an ICC profile from light room or the cloud from the free display cal software would work The iPad display is good but not completely accurate and dosent match my calibrated desktop display so color edits are a little pointless meaning I have to edit all the images again to correct the color...
After the last LR Mobile update (iOS), much to my chagrin the app imported videos (!) from my Camera Roll and synced them to the desktop. I could even play the video. I don't know about anyone else but this is *huge* to me and eliminates other steps/apps/complexity to get videos from the phone into LR.Awesome work! However, after that first joyous day, videos stopped importing into the app. Was this some kind of accidental feature release that Adobe disabled for a future date hoping no one would notice? Just a fluke? Anyone else? Thanks, love the direction LR Mobile is taking. Now just lockout mode (viewing only), keywording, and maybe faces and you'll seal the deal with this happy subscriber!
Keyword management in LR CC is genuinely too basic. Actually, it is even completely useless because of fundamental capabilities missing, such as:• define a hierarchical organization of keywords• assist the user in adding keywords (auto completion to avoid misspelling)• assist the user in removing keywords (warning when the keyword is already used on some images)• consolidation on "add a keyword to a photo": adding a child keyword to a photo will automatically add all the parents keyword too" • consolidation on "remove a keyword from a photo": removing a parent keyword from a photo should also remove all the child keywords• keep consistency when renaming an existing keyword (all instances of that keyword have to be updated among the library)• keep consistency to avoid doubles• show a badge on image thumbnails in grid view to indicate the presence of keyword• import/export function
Hi all,Not a big deal at all - but currently Lightroom CC (and I'm guessing other Creative Cloud applications) start warning about available cloud storage when you have 20% space remaining. The thing is this seems to be static regardless of how much storage you have left. This threshold makes sense at the lower tiers, 20GB and potentially even the 1TB tier - but at 2TB and above the warning appears way too early and has to be consciously (and eventually subconsciously!) dismissed for too long. It'd be good if either the end user could set a warning threshold, or Adobe could put the warning threshold on to a sliding scale of their own definition so those on the higher tiers don't receive the warnings so early. Another option could be a hardcoded value such as 100GB, but for those on plans lower than 100GB stick to 20%?Cheers,Nick
www.lightroom.com offers just two sharing options.1. There's a global gallery that I can add individual albums to2. I can create dedicated shares, starting with the content of one album then add other pictures from other albumsThere's no way to create additional gallery-like shares that contain multiple albums in the same style as the global gallery. One really obvious use-case for this would be to share an entire folder of albums (e.g. a folder corresponding to a music festival, with albums for each band).I can create one uber-share with all the pictures in a folder. But it's tedious work and loses the album structure that I'd much rather keep!
Hi,I find the new Lightroom CC very interesting but is lacking several esencial features for heavy users. Some of them are alredy requested, but I'd like to add the Publish Services. They are a really powerful tool to send pictures to WordPress, 500px, Flickr.... For some of us is just an essential feature in our workflow. I hope you consider adding it on the near future. Thanks!
I want to be able to browse photos on an external SD card reader and import directly to the phone. Currently, when I plug an SD card adapter into the phone and open Lightroom it sends me an error telling me it needs to re-sync my files, if I manage to work around this and select add photos to a collection, it doesn't offer the external card reader as an option. Instead it offers you a choice of the phone and internal microSD based picture folders. Please give me the ability to add files through the file browser so that I don't have to copy things to the phone in order to then import to lightroom. Also please sort out the syncing issue so that plugging an external drive in doesnt intefere with the presence of my offline collections.
I'm using Lightroom Mobile (4.3.2) on an iPadPro-2018. I want to import images from an SD card into LR.Here's my import process:-Attach card reader to UBS-C port, insert SD card-Open Files.app and browser to the SD Card-Select the photos you want to import into LR-Select "Share" in the lower left corner of the Files.appAt this point, I should be able to select Lightroom. However, the LR option ONLY appears if the number of files is 10 or fewer. More than 10 files and the Lightroom icon does not appear. With this process, no more than 10 images can be imported into LR at a time.Has anyone experienced this issue? Has anyone found a workaround? And yes, I have reported this to Apple. Thanks for your feedback.Peter
As a paying CC customer, who pays as much for your product as those who chose to own Apple products, I feel it's a little bit unfair to give preference to a certain subgroup solely based on their device choices. I do understand how software is released and that it does take some amount of work to get it working on the various Android hardware, but I just want to make sure you know (I'm sure you do) that there are many of us out there that want to have this feature too.
The Creative SDK provides access to a photo's title, caption, capture date, flag, and rating, but not to keywords. If it also provided keywords, then it would be simple for a plugin to sync those keywords back to LR Classic, satisfying a large number of Classic users who wish to use LR CC to keyword their photos. A couple hours of engineering to add keywords to the SDK would give a huge bang for the buck.
Please add the ability to drag and drop files from the desktop to import them into Lightroom CC. Sometimes I start by looking at files in my file browser and have to go back through Lightroom to find them, which is very inconvenient.
Lightroom CC's face/people detection feature would benefit from being able to display bounding boxes around the detected faces on a given photo, perhaps while in the Keywords view. I would want this to be interactive in a way that allows me to see which person "keyword/keyword slot" is associated with each bounding box. This would make it easier for me to ensure that each person detected in a photo is properly tagged. Taking it a step further, I would also like to be able to manually place bounding boxes on faces not automatically detected by Lightroom, so that I can ensure that all of the people I want to tag in a photo are tagged as People (not vanilla keywords).
Huawei released its new camera phone the P30 pro.It comes with a 16mm, 27mm and 125mm camera + a TOF lens.1) LR Mobile can only use the 16mm camera, would be great to select which one to use. So I could choose which lens I would like to use for HDR Dngs. Also the 27mm is the main camera with the biggest sensor with the highest resolution. But letting the user choose would be the best option.2) The main sensor doesn't come with a traditional Bayer pattern, instead it uses a RYYB pattern (red yellow yellow blue) the main idea was to use 4 Pixels as 1 to produce 10MP photos, but 40MP photos work too. But the colors are definitely off for Huawai DNG files, also on the other 2 cameras. Not just flat as expected from a raw file. Maybe the color profile needs some adjustment.3) Incorporating the data from the TOF sensor into raw files would be great, to adjust a fake Bokeh effect freely and nondestuctive. Huawei probably is only going to use it with jpg files, you could be the first. Also exp
I would appreciate that more features would be added on the Apple TV app such as:show pictures in random orders with selection you made. This is how we use it (among other) sharing in family and friends. . Photos as screen saver on TV just continue showing all evening. Selection on such as all five star rated photos. As well add functionality with selection based on years and / or in combination with geotags. Ie multiple selection criteria.
I am backing up my videos also to Lightroom CC app, I am unable to export, share, etc the video from the app.
please add support for Apple TV screensaversI do find it annoying that I have to export photos to disk and import them to iPhoto and then build an iPhoto-album ...there must be a better way to get my photos into the apple tv screensaver.
Why is there no support for Split screen on Lightroom Mobile iOS? I understand that this was supported previously and removed?I want to be able to have my references in Lightroom and split screen with Procreate for my drawing and painting.
I have a number of albums named "festival name - year - band", but in the left hand panel of lightroom this is rendered as "festival name - year - ...", which causes a great deal of frustration when looking for a particular album.Simply being able to make that panel a little wider would solve my woes
I can select multiple images off my mobile light room to share or export but I would like to pasted the lastest copied settings. Just as if I were to sync them on my laptop. Thank you.
Lightroom CC on Windows supports video files, at least for visualization and upload on cloud. Please provide at least the same support on the Android App.It is quite pointless to upload ONLY the pictures from the mobile phone and not the video
It seems less than optimal for deletion of photos in Lightroom CC to permanently remove the photos from all locations, especially in the event of accidental deletion. It would be great to have some sort of "Trash" functionality for deleted images (that could be cleared regularly as a policy) or even send deleted images to the native trash on any desktop machines connected to the cloud account.
I would really love to have the possibility to tag my photos with keywords in Lightroom Web. Quiteoften I must work on a computer where I must not install any software, even the Lightroom CC, but I can use the preinstalled browser and internet. At the moment I'm not asking for anything fancy, like the adoption of AI to populate the list of keywords automatically, a simple text field would do.Tank you!
Randomize photo order on slide show.
How to "make a copy" in LR mobile? It's a nice feature in LR Mac, why not on mobile?
I am disappointed that there is no facial recognition in Lightroom CC. I am a professional Photo Organizer and I was hoping it would be a good alternative to Mylio and other programs for organizing client's photos. With facial recognition in other competitive products, it is a way to add lots of names as keywords very efficiently.I scan client photos also, and I can't edit the capture date in Lightroom CC, so that is disappointing also. This product still does seem promising as a way for my clients to view, share and enjoy their photos if I have organized their collection and applied metadata using other products such as Lightroom Classic.
