P: Ability to copy/sync settings/adjustments across a group of photos

It seems that I am unable to copy or sync adjustments to multiple images in the new LRCC? I just imported/uploaded my first job with over 1200 RAW files, and need to set my base contrast/saturation/sharpening to all the RAW files before I begin my select edits. For some reason my "paste edit settings" is greyed out when I have multiple images selected. I'm assuming this may be some sort of user error on my part, there is no way a professional photo editing tool would not allow the use of base settings applied to a group of photos. However even when I go back to "add photos", there is no option to apply a preset on import like in the old Lightroom? Adobe please help! LRCC is obviously useless to me if I have to Ctrl/Copy Ctrl/Paste 1200 times a day... Thank you,

Hi Denice,

In reference to Lightroom CC the ability to batch sync settings over multiple images never left because it was never there. Lightroom CC is the newer, mobile/cloud centric version of Lightroom and was made leaner on purpose. As we get feedback from our customers (like you!) it will evolve so thank you for your input.

Lightroom Classic still has all the cool features you are used to and will likely be the better choice for the way you shoot. Check out the new Auto exposure tool. It is a real time saver for me! It gives a much better starting point than the previous one.

Bring back Sync!!!! I shoot portraits EVERYDAY and need to sync the setting for each set up. How can this NOT be standard on a processing program?!

In Lightroom CC it seems you cannot edit multiple photos at the same time (eg apply auto light settings, or auto white balance). This was possible in previous versions of Lightroom, and would be a good addition.

This makes the difference between a “pro” and a “niche hobby” application. If you take photos for a living or process large volumes of photos, this app is clearly not intended for you. How could the developers of the successor to the orginal Batch Editing Software miss this? It has been around for over a decade in LIghtroom as a core feature, yet somehow the successor was released without this feature, frankly this is mind blowing and a HUGE miss in my opinion.

Which Lightroom? Classic or CC? Stick with Classic, feature still there!

I just got a new laptop and updated Lightroom and spent forever trying to figure out how to sync settings only to get crazy frustrated after finding out I have to copy and paste one image at a time . This is ridiculous. I can't even figure out why Adobe would take that feature away.

Adding my voice to this request. It is painful to have to manually apply settings across a group of images. Not only should I be able to shift select a range and apply common Edit Settings to them, but I should also be able to do the same to a folder or album. Lastly, keyboard shortcut for Paste Settings. Thanks for making this happen.

Yes! Please bring back copy settings and paste to all selected. super crucial for all of us who like to apply a certain look to a collection, especially useful for wedding photographers and others who do large batches of client work. Thank you!

Even if I can't AutoSync (super useful, don't know why it's not there!) I'd settle for being able to Paste Edit Settings to _all selected images_ in the meantime!
