How do I display file names in grid display for the cloud based Lightroom CC on my desktop?   I see how to do this on the mobile version, but I'm not having any luck on the desktop one.

Thanks

Steve

I have over two thousand photos that I processed in lightroom for a large client. I can't get to files requested by the client on the fly for additional edits. I can see .CR2 on everyshot but I can't get a filename?

ATM We Cant use this program for sending work to clients to select their photos.

Clients are not tech savy. They make a list and send It to you in The email.

i had to stop using Adobe for sharing pics for selection. Im using Dropbox instead. It has worked seamlesly.

How ridiculous is this! I shoot in both raw and jpg. I imported over 100 photos from a folder - I tried importing just the raw images, but Lightroom imported everything. As this latest edition of Light does not allow you to see the file name (Lightroom Classic does), I cannot tell which image is the raw file and which is the jpg. Adobe, you really need to fix this or folks will be dumping this program.

Nothing, because we can't see it

For all those advocating to display the filename. Why?

What do you do with it?

This would be such a simple change, especially since it is already available on mobile...

I absolutely needed this today. How ridiculous it is to not have have this as an option.

Ridiculous that this is not a feature in the new version. I've been using Lightroom 5 for years and decided to try the new one. It looks pretty sleek but in this case it's a bit too streamlined. There really should be some place where you can quickly glance the file name and extensions. You would imagine that filenames are some of the more critical information that should be easily viewable when going through numerous photos?

PLEASE add this feature. It would be so helpful to have selects from a gallery easily identified. No brainer addition.
