Uploaded "orphains" cannot be identified. They are visible in "All pictures", but not flagged as such (nor or those belonging to an album flagged as such).

Amazing! totally not obvious but great. Ideally would have a smart album for this, and so many other things, but this has saved my bacon in the shirt term :0)

This feature was added a long time ago.

Click on All Photos, then click in the Search bar at the top of the grid. That reveals all the searchable "facets", one of them is "Albums". Then either do as Victoria suggested in the post directly above yours, or click on the "Album" facet and scroll to the bottom of the resulting list where you will find the entry "Not in Any Album". Click on that and the grid populates with the required filtered images.

Which platform are you using? In the Windows and Mac versions, start to type album: and select not in any album from the popup.

Am I missing something here. New to the forum so perhaps misunderstood, but this seems to be marked as 'implemented' yet I can see no way of finding a photo NOT in an album in Lightroom CC. I rely on this for my workflow and literally can't use LR if is still not possible. Any enlightenment most welcome thanks!

When will this be implemented in the iOS version? I really need this feature badly.

If https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/lightroom-cc-please-add-smart-folders were to be implemented smart folders could be used as long as "not in an album" was a selectable criteria.

Not yet, but I'll pass that on as a feature request. Glad we got you back to getting results.

Success ...... many thanks. Just keyed in “not” and I saw the “Not in any Album” show up. Moved a couple of photos and re-checked and the total changed. A stretch here but is there a way to show all photos labeled “Not in any Album” for each such photo when we pull up “info”. Thanks again .... at least a start. Love the product and features. Hopefully print facility will be there soon.
