Can't tell, can't even build a Lightroom (non-Classic) package in SDL anymore... seems like that might be the answer. It just isn't supported. =/

Also found this: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/enterprise/kb/sdl-known-issues.html which seems to say this is a known issue for months now.

I still cannot install Lightroom on my work computer and the installer disappears after it claims to be installing via the CC app!
It still crashes on the student facing machines and I can't tell which version it is. I'll look at my perosnal account on my computer at home this evening.
I have to leave early - it's just before 3pm GMT here - so I'll come back to you tomorrow.
Thanks for your help.

@rstaselbeta  Are you seeing the issue after updating to 6.2 (released yesterday)?

fwiw, I am one of our tenant admins. I'm not seeing anything "wrong"

we're seeing same issue... Lightroom immediately crashes after logging in, then continues to crash every time you launch it. Mac and PC, for SDL installs. All other apps launch and work from what we can tell.

Well it was working until recently, so something, somewhere has broken!

Lightroom Desktop will not work on the University's Mac or Windows computers - it crashes on launch with no error message.
I tried uninstalling Lightroom Desktop from my work Windows computer so that I could install a newer version which refused to update via the CC app.
Whatever I do I cannot install Lightroom Desktop; it doesn't appear in the CC app and when I try installing it via the browser I'm told it's installing.
Please acknowledge and fix these problems.

Is it a JISC thing?

Contact your universities administrator and make certain that. your license provision supports "Services".  If it does, your Admin may be able to turn it on for your license. If the university did not purchase services, Lightroom Desktop will not work and you will need to use Lightroom Classic.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will check again with the administrator. However, when I check my plan on the website, it said Adobe Lightroom is included in my plan. I am not sure if it is an error or what.

@JosephChan  Unfortunately, the product that you purchased does not include Lightroom.  Please check with your administrator or supplier and consider a separate subscription for Lightroom only.
