P: History Syncing

One thing I think the mobile and new LR CC are missing is the Develop History information. I think this is particularly important in this cloud based context: for example I may have done an edit on my phone that is not quite right (I fumbled it, screen was too small or whatever) and then need to back it out or change it when I see it on a desktop.

If this could also be synced with the LR Classic develop history, this would be very powerful.

I love working in Lightroom CC desktop app but I've noticed its missing some simple, yet important features. It's crucial to have an "undo" and "redo" button, and history to see which presets have been applied. Is it possible to update and add these features? I prefer Lightroom CC because I like that it automatically backs up to the cloud.

Hi Team,

Want to request the possibility of being able to see the editing history of a photo along with the option of readjusting the parameters on the old edit itself in the history.

Would help a lot when we revisit our edits and want to make only minor adjustments. As of now Lightroom requires us to re edit the photograph.

Thanks a Tonne !!

@Victoria_Bampton_Lightroom_Queen I have, it is good for recovering older edits, but sometimes there are multiple directions to head with a picture, and I used snapshots to switch between them and compare. Now I can duplicate, or create a version, but with smaller edits, the history did it automatically for me. You see the list of your edits, you choose a point, and with a single click, you are there. Now, you have to think ahead, create a version or a duplicate, etc. History panel was very useful in Classic

Have you looked at Auto Versions? They're a bit of a cross between History and Snapshots, the Auto ones are created when you switch photos so you can easily get back to a previous version.

Please add History panel to LR CC to let us see our edits, and step back if needed, just like in LR Classic

Lightroom Desktop  has done away with the history panel and I found this feature vital to my editing flow, ranging from being able to edit photos that were edited to 2010 to photos that were edited last night in 2020. Lightroom Desktop doesn't allow this and creates a severe headache when trying to backtrack editing issues, concerns and do-overs.

Please bring back the history panel in Lightroom Desktop: It's a feature in direly needed by professionals.

Please give a history stack to lightroom CC and sync it with lightroom classic.

Would like to +1 this feature. I've managed to get my library into the unfortunate state that a large batch of photos (several thousand) have had their develop settings overwritten. Interestingly, the edits I've made are all in the edit history for the photos, and what amounts to "resets to original state" have been applied to them. This means I'm able to go through each photo and select the previous state in the edit history to re-apply the edits I've made (a hugely painful process), but I'm only able to do this from LR Classic, which is an added burden.
