P: Please add smart albums

I would love to be able to create smart albums (aka smart collections) in the all-new Lightroom CC. Basically, a folder that contains a set of photos based on metadata information and updates automatically. The feature set should ideally contain all the options that exist in Lightroom Classic for smart collections. Thanks!

I moved to Lightroom about 18 months ago from Photos. I gave it a shot but I'm moving on. I've started the process to move back to Photos. I wont say this feature was the only reason but it was a big one. It's just basic functionality. The state this app is in right now, I really dont know who it's for.

Yes this is disappointing how this is STILL a missing feature. Does Adobe actually check these forum requests?

It's pretty crazy that this software, built to organize your photos, doesn't have such a simple feature. What is Adobe's goal with Lightroom if they don't want to create some of the central features from Classic. Just do not understand it!

+1. Smart folders is a must have feature.

Yes, please add smart folders. Also the ability to search with wildcards in photo titles, eg "Lon*" should find "London".

Smart albums that can be shared too is the only missing feautre for me. However, i hope that the current filter would be a little bit better; for example, photos with no tags!

Lightroom is amazing but could be SO much better with the implementation of Simple Smart Albums.  They would be easy to setup with built-in “filters” that will add photos based on criteria.  Maybe add more criteria as well like color coding similar to Apple Products.

Aperture had this, as well as color coding, and it made my photography organization so easy and fluid; before Apple killed the application.
