P: Please add smart albums

There is no reason Smart Albums should not be in Lighroom - please add them.

I waste so much time trying to figure out how to do basic And/Or/Not filtering or similar simple tasks, never imagining that it just isn't possible.  Lightroom CC is so unpleasant to use when you run into basic things that "should work" and just do not exist.  Apparently with no intention to ever improve the product.  

I'm considering switching from Apple Photos and this is the first feature I looked for when I opened Lightroom. It's amazing that in 2023 (almost 2024) this feature is still not available in Lightroom. I'm imaginging Adobe has no plans to introduce it at this point, so a migration from Apple Photos is probably out of the question for me.

Doing a smart album like a saved search isn't very difficult is it ?

At least if you start with pictures' Tags and people faces.

Given the time it's taken I can only imagine they've rediscovered Russell's paradox in the form of, "What do we do if a smart album is all photos with keyword Bride but not in collection Wedding and the collection Wedding is defined as all the photos without the keyword Bride?" and are working through all the steps Zermelo-Fraenkel went through to put together the 9 axioms of their set theory.

Lightroom CC needs to have DYNAMIC / SMART ALBUMS (like the dynamic playlists in iTunes): You create an album with several criteria, like keywords, people, or location (also using And/Or/Not). And the folder gets updated automatically when new photos are added to Lightroom, or new keywords are added to a photo. So you don't need to add the photos to the album or folder manually. In effect, the album would be a bit like a detailed saved search. Examples: your family, a group of friends, a specific location where you come back regularly, a specific topic you like (Sports with certain people).... Don’t tell me it’s difficult to develop.

How in the world are we 5 years into Lightroom CC and it still doesn't have rudimentary organizational features like smart albums/collections?  Also why the heck hasn't JPG+RAW separation been handled?

What professional actually uses CC over Classic if this is what we have to deal with?
