P: Restore Editing in Landscape Mode on iPhones?

Unbelievable that editing in landscape mode is still not available for Lightroom Mobile on the iPhone. Even the basic Photos app in iOS allows this and it's far better than editing in portrait mode. I'm trying to teach some people the basics of Lightroom Mobile by sharing my phone with a smart TV and the portrait view is virtually unusable because the text is so small even on a large TV screen. 

I return to this thread occasionally and it just boggles my mind that this is feature (apparently) still available on Android, that previously existed on iOS, and there is no clear commitment to return it to iOS.

I have no doubt that Adobe employees see these posts, including those who share my—and many others'—perspective. I beg them to get a decision maker to try to spend some time editing in vertical-only mode on an iOS device and compare it to being able to edit in horizontal mode.

They don't care. Simple as that. Look how long it's been. Tons of comments here. Tons of negative reviews. They simply don't care about our feedback. Our best option is to find alternatives.

I am a content creator who regularly uses Lightroom Mobile on iPhone to record screen tutorials. In earlier versions, the editing tools were available in landscape mode, which made it much easier to record and demonstrate adjustments.

Recently, the tools disappeared in landscape orientation, and this significantly affects content creators like me who rely on horizontal view for quality screen recordings.

Please consider bringing back full editing functionality in landscape mode on iPhones. This feature is still available on Android, and it would greatly improve the iOS experience.

Don't say that, they might notice they forgot to take it away there too. 

Stiill no  landscape editing on iPhone 😞 , but on my android device it is working fine.

Adding my voice to the list of users requesting this horizontal editing functionality back. The mobile app is nearly useless on iPhone without this feature. 

@Charlie.D OK! I understand if the status really is just unknown at this point (will happen, won't happen, and/or when). Or if you can't share any info at all. I was picking up on the semantics out of hope, perhaps... 🙂

I appreciate the clarification. I'm just pushing on this because of continued strong interest in the feature returning!

I am here to help users by sharing functional knowledge I have about the LR iOS app.  It's not my role to set priorities or talk about product roadmap.

I see now that me including the word "until" implies product plans, but that's poor word choice on my part.  I'll amend that now to be clearer to new folks who visit this thread.

@Charlie.D Thanks for replying. I totally understand you're limited in what you can say! In the pinned post, however, you do say "lack of edit while in landscape is a matter of the implementation not being complete yet"—that indicates to me that it's at least coming. Can you at least confirm that statement remains true—that it's still planned/in the pipeline/someday?
