P: Support for keyword and metadata editing

After spending some time with Lightroom mobile, I appreciate it a lot more than I thought I would. However, I would really like to be able to add keywords as well. The other thing I miss is the ability to straighten (not rotate) a picture.

I second that emotion. Why can Adobe not see how important this functionality is to our workflow?

A new update for Lightroom mobile came out yesterday but sadly, still no sign of keywording functionality on mobile devices.... completely disappointing...

I will buy a subscription if this is added, it is a basic requirement for me as IOS8 does not supports iphoto.

Yes please. Keywords, and metadata in general seems like an obvious thing for Mobile.

I passed on LR Mobile because it lacked this feature, and went with Photosmith instead. For batch work I'm more inclined to use the iPad for metadata than editing, especially raws.

Yes please. And with possibility to add to mulitiple photos and edit keywords like photosmith does.

This is such an important feature to so many users! I wonder why we don't get even one acknowledgment from Adobe staff?

Even if they tell us no, this feature is never coming. It would allow many of us to start planning alternative routes.

Like lots of others I see the ipad app as not a tool for editing, but for review and text entry. Lots of people looking for keywords. I would like access to the metadata and in particular, the ability to edit Title, Caption and Sub location.

The main Lightroom app on Mac / PC makes editing of metadata fields tricky with small fonts on a large screen. The Ipad can become the perfect tool for metadata text entry.

The ability to email from the iPad would allow me to post directly to various social media sites with my Title,Caption and Location data already entered and reviewed. A perfect task to complete from the field or hotel, before getting back to the main workstation at the office.
