I'd really, really like to be able to do keywording on my iPad in the LR mobile app. Could save me a lot of Google-time back at the desktop trying to figure just where I was standing for that shot, and what's the name of that building, mountain, river, village etc, etc

Pete,
Couldn't agree more, I want to do any editing on my computer and sync them over to a tablet (iPad in this case) to keyword on on the run. I often have downtime and only have my iPad with me so if I could keyword during that time. It's a basic yet necessary feature that I need as well as color coding images. Never use flags or stars.

This feature would be very useful in the mobile app. Is it planned in the future updates and if so, when?

For me it's one of 3 missing features and would help me immensely when travelling to be more productive before returning to the mothership iMac 🙂
The others being exports retaining exif and the ability to show numbers of images against star ratings.

I'd like to be able to use that extra time waiting at the doctor's office or at the gate for a flight to go back and add keywords to my images (but please make it easy to add keywords to multiple images at a time, and have a long list of recent keywords to save me typing on a tablet)

All I need is to be able to view and edit keywords and metadata. Key wording is probably the most important thing for me; to be able to edit or change them in Lightroom Mobile would make it over the top useful. I honestly don't need to edit images on an iPad or another tablet. Keywords take up most of my time.

You should be able to change other attributes other than the flag, there is color and starts to consider as well.

An export to Photoshop Touch could be useful, but this might mean an upgrade to Photoshop Touch so the files get saved back into Lightroom. Again this might not be possible on iOS.

I'd like for lightroom mobile to have the ability to add keywords to photos.

I was sooo very excited when I downloaded Lightroom Mobile on my iPad yesterday. I was soooo very disappointed when I discovered that the tasks I am most likely to do away from the desktop, are not included. Editing photos on a ipad- meh, maybe family snapshots, etc. Organizing/attributing/Sorting - ABSOLUTELY!!! I created a collection that I intended to keyword on the bus this morning, no dice. I'm just hoping that it will be included in a pending update in the not-too-distant future.

I would like to use Lightroom (on my iPad) to catalog and keyword images and leave the editing to my desktop (iMac) as it's easier to edit on a bigger screen (for me at least).

Ipad version 1 is welcome.

It is an ideal tool for adding metadata to images.

Please provide the ability to maintain the following fields.

Title
Caption
Location.

The User Interface for Mac / Windows makes it difficult to edit metadata, due to the small font size, cluttered list of fields and narrow column width. The UI of the iPad would allow the user to easily scale the screen to allow very good text entry features. With current hardware this will deliver real benefit, whereas, we will have to wait for better calibrated iPads to really take advantage of the develop features.

Lightroom Mobile really needs the ability to add keywords to the photos. This is one of the major things you will want to do when you're away from Lightroom and are killing time waiting for your plane/being on the plane etc.
