Add a toggle to disable auto-connecting straight lines

It would be helpful to have a toggle to disable the auto-connecting behavior of straight lines drawn with the brush tool while holding Shift. Currently, to start a new line without it connecting to the previous one, users must release Shift, press B, reengage Shift, and then resume drawing. This makes drawing with straight lines cumbersome, forcing users to manage key presses instead of focusing on their work, which becomes disruptive, especially when needing to draw hundreds of lines.

I've seen the below threads also discussing this behavior:

Agree agree agree! It's so incredibly frustrating when I'm just trying to draw multiple straight lines. I think if you're using PS as an art program (which is what I do), you just want to be able to draw swiftly and ergonomically without being hindered by random features thrown in the mix. Realeasing and re-holding shift is a matter of seconds but in the 'art flow' that's a really annoying stumbling block.  I'm constantly having to get rid of/undo lines that connected because it didn't notice I released, or I released a nanosecond too late. I think the polygon tool is far more effective for connecting lines to make a shape. This has been the case for years but having an option to get rid of that feature would make life so much easier!

I'm not against the idea, but there is no need to press B.  Just release shift then click to start the new line and press shift again.
