Add an ability to disable alert

Thank you for all your hard work on the development every day.

When I use Lasso tool, I often look the alert "No pixels are more than 50% selected".
Compared to horizontal movements, I often find that I cannot move my arm as intended in the vertical direction, which inevitably leads to this warning appearing.
It is clear from both my arm movements and the results that I have made the wrong selection, so personally, I find this warning to be an intrusive and annoying nuisance that merely interrupts my work and disrupts my rhythm.

I would like to see an option to disable this warning.

This has been requested before, but actually this message is there for a good reason.

It’s not there for misplaced selections, it’s there for very soft and feathered selections. If it’s under the 50% threshold, you won’t be alerted that there is a selection at all, since you won’t see marching ants.

But there is still an active selection, and so you’ll keep working, and too late realize that your work has been wasted.

If that is the main reason behind it, I would like to propose adding one condition to this request:

- Apply this suppression when Feather is set to 0px.

When the feather radius is set to 0px, all selected pixels are mathematically binary (either 0% or 100%), so intermediate selection states cannot exist. Therefore, in a 0px feather environment, this warning does not serve the valid purpose you mentioned - it acts purely as a disruptive popup triggered by minor misclicks.

Adding this condition would be a win-win improvement for both photo editing and precise pixel-art workflows.

I agree with DFosse. I also wonder what you are doing that you get the alert so often. I haven’t seen it for years.

In any event, since you posted to Feature Requests, the Photoshop team will see it and act independently of comments made by others.
