Align the various metadata and ICC profile options in Export As and Quick Export

I feel that there are too many conflicting options and built-in limitations with all the different methods to export PNG and JPEG files. I think it is time for some housekeeping.

This becomes obvious when put into a table:

Photoshop 2024 (25.4.0)

Export As Resolution Metadata (PPI) ICC Profile
JPEG Metadata: Copyright & Contact Info Removed Retained
JPEG Metadata: None Removed Retained
PNG Metadata: Copyright & Contact Info Retained Retained
PNG Metadata: None Retained Retained

Quick Export Resolution Metadata (PPI) ICC Profile
JPEG Metadata: None Removed Removed
PNG Metadata: None Retained Removed

My suggestion is to simplify and bring cohesion to these export methods.

Simply put, allow the user option to include or exclude both ICC profile and resolution metadata for PNG and JPEG formats in Export As and Quick Export.

I have posted a bug report regarding the Export As and Quick Export methods retaining resolution metadata in 25.4.0, which wasn't the case in previous versions. This needs clarity.

I have shortened the table above for clarity, it gets even more confusing when one factors in other methods to create PNG or JPEG files:
