Allow import layers from Linked Ilustrator files in Photoshop

When placing a LINKED FILE in Photoshop, I would like the option in the IMPORT box to select which layers I want to import. Not just which artboard.

Just like in InDesign, you select "PLACE" and you select an Illustrator file with "SHOW IMPORT OPTIONS" checked...it brings up a "General" and "Layers" tab of my file. From there you can turn on and off any layers before importing. I want that to be an option in Photoshop too, not just InDesign. Right now all layers come into my linked file and there are certain ones that show dimension and sizing that I don't want in my render.
