Allow Layer Comps to Apply to Canvas Size

When making social media content, I will usually use the same elements but need the image to be resized for Linkedin, Instagram, Twitter, etc preferred image size. I feel it would add to my workflow if I could save one photoshop document with multiple layer comps for each media platform, and keeping all the files related to a specific post all in one place.

It seems currently, Layer Comps should allow me to do this, but the only thing missing is the ability to save canvas size in layer comps.

As Stephen says, Artboards with the "save artboards as files" in the export menu is the way to go.
By searching through this website I stumbled upon this answer:

from this thread:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-ideas/photoshop-export-layer-comps-using-artboards/idi-p/12248986
that points to this script:

https://github.com/antoniocosta/photoshopscripts/blob/master/Layer%20Comps%20To%20Artboard%20Files.jsx

I haven't tested it, but maybe you can give it a go!

Artboards allow different "canvas sizes" within the single canvas design of Photoshop (which is not a multi-page program).
