Can the next PS update include baked in JPEG quality settings in the initial save window

I have a request - I'm nearly always bamboozled saving JPEGS from PS. When I save, I switch to another application to send to clients. It happens that I forget to pause and wait for the quality sllider to pop up. It's always delayed, and I always move on too quickly. Wouldnt it be great if those settings could be defaulted in the PS settings OR could be baked into the initial save options.

Does that make sense!? Thanks!

In addition to actions and scripts, you can also setup Export As for Quick Export:

Editing an action step to a new save location is very quick, just double-click the step.

The action can either use a standard Save As or Save For Web, that's your choice.

Yes, ive made actions with save as but intermittently have had issues with
dialogue boxes and misnamed files. So ive avoided that. Will try save for
web to avoid that. Thanks for the suggestions!

I never considered making an action via Save for Web, thats a great idea, ty! I'd still like to have that secondary window made unnecessary - since I'm not always saving in the same location.

You can use a script or action to save files with specified settings. I have one custom action which saves out a PSD file and then exports a JPEG via Save for Web, all without any dialogs.
