Can we please go back to old brush organization?

As a digital artist I waste SO MUCH TIME scrolling through the new brush list. And then it wants to assign certain brushes to certain tools. The old one I could see 50 brushes at time and now im like doomed to scroll forevermore never seeing more than 7 options. I don't need to see the preview. JUST NIX IT!! USE THE ICONS!! It's SO FRUSTRATING.

@c.pfaffenbichleryes I dont know if that is an intentional behaviour. I dont open up the brushes window a lot tho, right clicking is easier for me

@KP5FC7 , sorry, I did not mean that you should post a further screenshot, but I wanted to see what the original poster was actually talking about.

Oh sorry my misunderstanding

Your first post probably hit the issue on the nose anyway (»Brush Tip«, »Brush Stroke«) but still …

Funnily enough, @KP5FC7 , the contextual brush dialog you mentioned seems to maintain expanded Groups after restarting Photoshop, whereas the Brushes Panel collapses them.

@c.pfaffenbichlerAlright
You can open up the brush flyout menu by right clicking your canvas while the brush tool is selected

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?
