Consequent "Save a Copy" should have consequent numbers

For example: When I first click to save a copy, the file name name has "copy" added to it.

Then, each new save a copy should have a number attached to it, so it would be:

file name + copy

file name + copy 2

file name + copy 3

etc.

 

This would make things a lot quicker and easier. Right now regardless of how much you save a copy, it's just file name + copy.

    The feature isn't intended to create incremental/sequential copies.


    I realise this is an idea/request topic. There are scripts for this task if you want this feature today. There are many scripts for this task on the forum if you search for posts with sequential or incremental, here is an example:
