Designing with respect to a pixel aspect ratio

Hi, 

We are in contact with Mike Scrutton, director print technology&strategy in the print and publishing business unit at your company, about a request of us to develop a plugin part of our software as plugin of Photoshop/Illustrator.

In a textile Cad/Cam application, the designer should be able to make a drawing respecting a pixel aspect ratio which is defined by the machine.

Photoshop views the drawing according a pixel aspect ration but does not consider it during desiging.

Our question is if you would be prepared to add such a feature or to provide a possibility to do it ourselve through an API?

Mike has more information about our project. We make many kinds of textile machines (weaving machines, tufting machines, spinning machines, ...) and we have also a software to control and to monitor our machines.
