Feature Request: Let us rename the file of embedded smart object i.e "oldname.dng" to "newname.dng"

Let us rename the RAW file in the smart object, that's it!

I've spent hours chatting with adobe agents on this subject with no result on what should be a relatively simple function. The smart object is not linked so I should be able to name it whatever I want without consequences to my work and/or workflow. thanks

Hi, this feature was released in Photoshop v27.8 in June. Please test it out and let us know what you think.

I was looking at testing this, what are the exact steps to rename the contents of an embedded smart object, particularly an embedded raw file from open as object in ACR?
