Generate \ Image Assets doesn't export webp

In Photoshop 2023, when you want to export a webp image using the generator, it's not working and I don't see how to make work. 

 

How come this is not contemplated in the generator? Is there's already full support this should be working already :S

    Using PS 2024 it works for me now. Just needed to enable it within the Configuration Options.

    Can you share any updates on the native WebP support using generate which also works on m1 chipset Macs? The experimental option provided does not work for m1 macs.

      It's not currently supported. There is an experimental option that is macOS only: https://github.com/adobe-photoshop/generator-assets/wiki/Configuration-Options
