Tell me why, when generative fill is doing it's thing I can't do anything else with photoshop untill it's done? It should be able to do it's thing in the background while I work.

    I believe it is also a computer energy user. So not much left to do anything else. It does not take long to use AI so waiting a minute should not be to much down time.

    @Kelvin30050812i86p Generative fill is an intensive process that is accessing the cloud. It is processing and generating a render based on the snapshot of your current state. I dont see how this would work if you adjust the image while processing the image to generate an accurate render.
