Generative Fill seperation

I would like to see Generative Fill allow for the element created to be seperate from the background with which it blends. For example, you have a lilypad and you Generate a frog. But on the generative layer, you also have the surrounding "border" that the system has added to blend to the lilypad background. Often this is great and doesn't cause a problem. But if it were possible to Generate onto two layers instead of one (or better yet, two layers PLUS an adjustment layer containing color cast, etc.) that would be more useful.
