HEIC file support in Photoshop is outdated

Opening image with .heic extension requires Windows plugin from microsoft store which is very old and does not support 10 bit .heic files made by my cellphone while they open just fine in latest Lightroom.

I would think Adobe Camera Raw should also support HEIC import but there is no option to directly open HEIC format in ACR!
