Internet accessibility is NOT as easy as you think!

I work on ships, I teach photography on ships and I edit my photographs - at least I try to - unless the program shuts down if I cannot connect to the internet.  I do have access to the internet every so often - so make a date that we can CHOOSE to connect to the system so those of us without a lot of access can do our jobs!  I just updated my Photoshop apps - and less than a week goes by and I have to connect.  I am luckily with service tonight, but often I am out at sea for a month and I don't have reliable service.  If you want to keep subscribers - let us choose when to make a connection to the mother ship!

The Creative Cloud software verifies the account status on Adobe servers once a day. If the account is in good standing (that is, payment is up-to-date) when the last verification happens, the software status refreshes to run for at least 99 days offline with an annual subscription. Month to month, much less!

Note that just tethering to the net via a cell phone will work, and the bandwidth is tiny.

@Lumigraphics Enterprise support is for Enterprise customers, otherwise Adobe Support can help in this situation.

You might also contact the Enterprise team to see if they have a workaround for activation checks.

That's not normal. The license check is once a month, and you don't need to be connected between checks.

Even so, it will continue to work for 99 days offline, but after a month you'll get reminders and nag screens, before it finally shuts down for good.

I'd sign out, uninstall the CC app, reinstall and then sign in again. If that doesn't fix it, there is a deeper problem.
