Keep overlay/selection visible when a processing error occurs (remove tool)

I frequently use the Remove Tool to make multiple selections across an image. Currently, when the tool encounters a processing or rendering error, the Photoshop engine performs a total rollback. As a result, the pink overlay selection completely disappears, forcing me to start the entire selection process from scratch.

While processing errors can happen due to hardware or memory spikes, losing the selection work is incredibly frustrating and hurts the workflow efficiency.

My request: Please update the Remove Tool's behavior so that if a processing error occurs, the pink overlay/mask remains on the screen instead of being wiped out. This would allow users to simply modify their selection or try processing it again without losing their progress.
