Keep Working While Generative AI Is Processing

Generative AI models such as Google Nano Banana can take 1–3 minutes to produce each result. During that time, Photoshop prevents us from switching tabs and continuing our work.

AI generation should run in the background. We should be able to edit another document and receive a notification when the result is ready.

When testing multiple prompts or variations, these delays quickly add up. Background generation would remove a major workflow bottleneck and make Photoshop far more productive.
