Learn the difference between people wearing swimsuits and nudity.

I have been doing recovery work on a pool party today and Ps hasn’t balked once.  It’s letting people show arms legs and even shoulders.  I used the rectangle trick successfully several times and unsuccessfully several times.  I didn’t know about the top layer part.  I’ll try that the next time it balks.  When I started today I was ready to quit using Ps and switch to InPixio, but it hasn’t balked yet.

Not to mention when I need to remove a radiator or other piece of furniture with remove tool and it just gives me solid black color and a warning, despite 1. not touching the person and 2. the person is wearing at least an underwear if not more. Like, what

I totally agree with you, this is ridiculous. I’ll give you a workaround that usually works fine. Temporarily cover the ‘offending’ part of the photo with a solid object layer (like a black rectangle). Make sure this top layer is selected and then use Generative Expand. Now Expand will work. After it worked, delete that layer again. For Generative Fill this often works too. You’ll need to fill into a new layer that’s on top of the object layer. Obviously it won’t work if you need to fill part of the ‘nudity’.

Nudity should be allowed as well. It’s ridiculous that in 2026 photographers and artists are being limited by the remote robotic reality police. It’s so frustrating that I’m currently shopping for Photoshop alternatives.
