Lens Flare

I would like to see a tool for removing lens flare when it is created from a light source, like the sun, that is outside of the image.  This flare is usually the shape of the iris opening in the lens or shutter.  It will be a bright colored area that still contains the image detail.  Surly some sort of AI tool could correct this bright area while preserving the detail.

Do you have the RAW file? Reflection Removal does not work on non-RAW at current, it seems.

Though in this case an Adjustment Layer and some touch-up for the edges might suffice.

Could you please provide an example?

Have you tried Camera Raw’s Distraction Removal > Reflections yet?
