I have a 4090. It's probably faster to process AI work locally instead of through the internet. It's also better for privacy reasons. Please add a way to use AI functions locally.

@Lateralus99 thats not how AI systems work. As @D Fosse pointed out its not about processing speed its about the available source for the AI system to generate a result. If your concern is a slow internet connection could be throttling your speed, that is where you should focus.

It's a service.

If you want to run it on your own hardware, Adobe must give you the proprietary AI model, which is not how proprietary works, then if you do run it, it will probably need a datacenter scale computing.

When I say resources, I don't mean computing. I mean image banks.

That's another reason to allow local processing. Why should I wait in a queue when I can run the task on my own computer?

Not an answer for you, but it could be that it's not about speed, but access to resources on servers.
