Make mask edges less sensitive to noise.

I love the smart, adaptive masking in ACR, and use it with presets a lot.  However, the masks are sensitive to noise in the image, especially when I need to balance lighting between subject and background.  I frequently find that the mask has selected image noise pixels near the edges of subjects, and when I push or pull the lighting, the individual pixels stand out like dirt on the image.  Denoising helps, but brings its own set of complications, especially when the noise in the image is not distracting were it not for the masking issues.  I note that the masking in Capture One is much less sensitive to this problem.  Their masks do pick up a little of the noise but much less.  Also, their refine mask tool gives the ability to adjust and smooth the mask edges.  So, two suggestions.  1) Look at the algorythms and see if there is a way to further minimize selecting noise near contrast edges, and 2) create the option of being able to smooth and feather mask edge transparency using a slider.
