Multi-Layer Simultaneous Liquify Function Implementation Request

As a professional graphic designer and digital artist, I'm writing to request the implementation of simultaneous multi-layer liquify functionality in Adobe Photoshop. This feature would significantly enhance workflow efficiency and creative possibilities within the software.

Current Limitation

The existing liquify tool, while powerful, requires artists to modify each layer individually, creating unnecessary time investment and potential inconsistencies when working with complex artwork containing multiple layers. This limitation becomes particularly apparent when working with:

  • Character illustrations with separate line art and color layers
  • Product design mockups requiring shape adjustments
  • Photo manipulations with multiple adjustment layers

Proposed Solution

Drawing inspiration from Clip Studio Paint's implementation, the feature would allow users to:

  • Select multiple layers in the layers panel
  • Apply liquify transformations simultaneously
  • Maintain consistent deformation across all selected layers
  • Preview changes in real-time across the entire artwork

Business Value

This enhancement would:

  • Reduce production time for complex artwork
  • Improve accuracy in multi-layer transformations
  • Strengthen Photoshop's competitive position in the digital art market
  • Address a common pain point in professional workflows

Technical Consideration

The feature could be integrated into the existing liquify interface with the addition of a "Apply to Selected Layers" option, maintaining Photoshop's familiar user experience while adding powerful new functionality.

Thank you for considering this feature request. I believe this addition would significantly benefit the entire Photoshop community.
