Native JXR Support

Official JXR support is desired given Windows natively supports it, and creates JXR files when making screenshots in HDR.

A previously made plugin is now no longer installable.

A native solution for viewing created HDR images on PC (especially since it's not possible in photoshop) would be very valuable to me.

Here's an example file taken from the latest Spiderman Game release.

I'd like native support for JPEGXR too.

Download JPEGXR Plug-in for Photoshop (Windows) from Official Microsoft Download Center

Oddly it seems microsoft updated their JXR plugin but it seems like it's made for CS6 not CC. I cannot get it to work.

This also correleates with the new ability to make HDR wall papers with JXR. It's not a dead format atl east for microsoft.

EDIT: Mac version was also updated apparently?
