P: Ability to toggle off/on features of the brush HUD?

I desperately wish there were an option to just resize the brush with the HUD, I don't want to make my brush less opaque or change the hardness and I can't seem to not accidentally vary the opacity/hardness while trying to just resize the brush. Why isn't there a subtree of options for the brush HUD?

X HUD brush size
X HUD opacity
X HUD hardness

Very much wish there was some more options with this feature, as it is it mostly causes me grief because of how useful it *could* be.
