It would be helpful to be able to Search inside the PS Brush tool by the Name of the Brush

    You can now search for brushes (and other types of presets) in the Brushes Panel.

    Actually I do create folders of them, but what I am talking about is the convenience of pulling up a single brush by name, (that may not be in one of my folders) especially since there are over 1000 brushes .

    Why don't you just make folders so you can sort them that way.  You can label your folders A-Z or like I do by category.
