P: Add customizable color labels to Photoshop document tabs

When working in Photoshop with many documents open at once, it can quickly become difficult to identify the document you’re looking for among all the tabs — especially when frequently dragging layers, images and other assets between documents.

It would be extremely useful if we could assign a color label to individual document tabs, similar to the color-label system already used for layers.

Ideally, right-clicking a document tab would offer a selection of colors (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, etc.), plus “No Color.” The selected color would then be clearly visible on the tab itself.

This would make it much easier to visually group and identify documents at a glance, and significantly improve workflows that involve moving or dragging assets back and forth between multiple open files.

I’ve attached a mockup showing how it could work.

@smart_Cosmos35d7 that is such a great feature request. I don’t have the power to move it over, but this should be moved to ‘https://community.adobe.com/feature-requests-713’
