When I want to resize all my JPG files, I also want to change their resolution (dpi) in Image Processor.
For example I Saved my RAW files to JPG in 300dpi, but later I want to change the JPG files reso to 72dpi. I must do it separately or with an Action or Save again from RAW files.

It would be very helpful, if you have more than one file to change.

Hi,

Do this:

1. Open 1 of the .tiff image in Photoshop.
2. Set Up and Action. Click "New Action" in Action Panel (Window > Actions), name the action and Click Record.
3. Choose Image > Image Size...
4. Make sure you will make these adjustments : http://screencast.com/t/SJMw27K34A
5. Click Ok
6. Choose File > Automate > Fit image ...
7. Make sure you will make these adjustments: http://screencast.com/t/ujjBSvei
8. Click Ok
9. Stop Recording the Action : http://screencast.com/t/6v1mNqZKt
10. Now use Image Processor, but in step 4 in the dialog apply the action I described above : http://screencast.com/t/5FPW9fD46Tf
Have to click "Run Action" checkbox.

Have in mind with Fit Image your images will not going to be squares each time. The Command will fit the image in this resolutions without squish it or distort it.

Cheers!

Yep, IPP rocks and will likely come with CS6. FWIW, it's "PPI" and i's likely to be irrelevant with JPEGs used for web and email.

It is because of image processor uses S4W to save JPEG and S4W get resolution from File Info of Photoshop, File Info doesn't update the resolution info causes the bug. This bug is in our bug system and it is under consideration.

Thanks,
