currently there's no way to set layer or fill opacity to 0 via the keyboard. Pressing 00 should work but it doesn't.

Double zeros is one of the best ideas yet. Makes perfect sense with the current numerical setup for percentages. Hit 0 once, 100%, hit 0 twice 0%, perfect toggle between the two extremes.

HInt from Heloise: I have found the period a great shortcut key for "print size." Assign it in the "keyboard shortcuts." (PC here) Crt+0, Crt+Alt+0, and now Crt+. put my popular zooms all in one easy location.

Our UI designer approved the idea. Now I've got to find some QE to test it...

it's only used as a period really. So if you try to type 2.5 using the numpad, it'll type 2, set the opacity to 0 and type 5 😄

Since I rarely type numbers, and since I can still use the period key on the main keyboard, it's not really an issue for me personally.

Chris, why is it always the most used application (Ps) that needs to relinquish its historical shortcuts in favor of the ones of the other apps, and not letting the users decide what set of shortcuts they want to use? Bridge could be the central location for that choice, as it was the case for Color Management.

Yeah, good points. +1 on everything you said.

Out of curiosity, do you know “.” on the keypad used for anything?
