P: Allow simple maths in number fields.

So if I want my canvas to be 43px smaller I can basically type 160-43. Or if I want it to be 2.5x bigger I can do 160x2.5.
Any number field can benefit from this. Very often I have to open the calculator to figure out numbers.

For the love of god! Add math functionality to all input fields as in Illustrator!

Where's the outcry from web developers on this feature? Or game developers?
The list of uses for this very practical feature goes on and on.. and is used for such in other Adobe apps. It boggles my mind that this request has gone without attention for another year. I've taken to bringing in raster assets to illustrator to position them with pixel accuracy, because Illustrator has this feature. I can move an item x pixels over and y pixels down with ease, where in photoshop you're stuck setting up an elaborate array of guides and hoping the snapping feature doesn't get in your way. It's time for photoshop to have basic math in ALL numeric entry fields. You'd think this would be an easier feature to add than the elaborate new smart guides, which are still rather clunky IMO.

In the special case of Canvas size: just click the Relative checkbox, then type in the number you wish to add or subtract.

I would really like it if you could type equations into the 'Canvas Size' dialog box the way you can most other measurement fields in Photoshop. For example, if I want to increase my canvas measuring 1582 px by an additional 135 pixels, I could just type add '+135' to the current field value so the entry in the field would be '1582+135'.

Please please please add a math function to input fields in Photoshop just like InDesign and Illustrator works. Meaning that you can for example write "1024*2" in say the canvas input field and as you tab it calculates that to "2048". Thank you!

It would be great to add a small calculator in the : document size and and canvas size windows. As for people who work a lot with game graphics it would be much easier to calculate animation sequence size etc. rather than open calculator and do all the math there.

check "Relative" and put 4,11 in the "width" field...I understand the need for division and multiplication, but for addition and subtraction, well, there is the checkbox for that...
