I'd love a better way to organize brushes, shapes, and styles. Perhaps a way to tag them, then search or sort by tag.

Yes, we asked users how they would like it to work, and tested it with many users.

Yes, changing the size of the brush really does make it a different brush preset.

Please understand that Photoshop has millions of users. And your point of view may not match everyone's.

Chris - In real world other size of the same brush will mean you use physically new brush - that make sense for me.

But we are in digital world and I simply can't see any reason someone who use PS for digital painting will see this new feature helpful.

Flemming is trying to explain our point of view and I agree with him it looks like Adobe assumed how this feature should work.

Dear Chris Cox

Did Adobe actually ask the Photoshop users how they would like this functionality to work - or did you just assume it?

I for one was ECSTATIC when I saw you even did a small chance to the brush panel, but was disappointed when I used it. Just for simply resizing a brush does NOT make it a new brush.

Please ask your users about this.
Please change it....

Thanks;)

Every time you USE a different brush, the settings are saved.
Because you actually changed the size, they are different brushes.

Same here - happy to see this new feature but no need to see same brush with different sizes used. At least this could be customized in some preferences 😉

Recently used brushes are available in the brush pickers in Photoshop CC 2014.

Which in fact is useless because every time you change brush size it's saved to the picker.
Meaning that after 5 minutes you have only one brush there. By why do I need 7 instances of the same brush when I actually need different brushes?
