P: Bring back "Shake Reduction" filter - Removed in Photoshop v.23.3.0

Gordon

MAC OS 11 .6.5. Desktop. PS 23.3

latest version =no shake reduction?? why is this on purpose.. i love this little tool -only works about 35% of the time but when it does it helps a lot.

also why is this now called photoshop ecosystem? makes you think you might be in the wrong place. what wrong with PHOTOSHOP

also very difficult to find where to post questions now.. what is wrong with these people.  it isn't rocket science.

thanks!

Adobe removed it in 23.3 for M1 Macs running Photoshop natively "since this technology is not compatible with the newer development platforms".

See https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-for-apple-silicon.html#native-known-issues

You can get it by running Intel Photoshop on M1 using Rosetta 2. Is that your issue?

Forum was renamed last year when Photoshop and Photoshop Mobile communities were combined.

Read all about it:

Revert back? When I pay for a subscription to keep ahead. Just a rediculous suggestion.

Then don't and lose the filter; entirely your call, hardly ridiculous

Topaz sharpen is very good (their de-noise is amazing) bit I think photoshop shake reduction 'Was' better

Get Topaz Labs Sharpen AI. The camera shake tool works very well on that, if consdierably slower than the much lamented late tool ex-photoshop.

I am using an old Mac pro - the shake reduction is still there. I do use it
frequently.

Try to reload the photoshop completely! May help.

Cam I go back to a previous version of photoshop?

To go back (revert) to previous versions, use the Adobe Creative Cloud application, next to the product you want to revert, click on... (three little dots) and pick "other versions."

A seriously backward step - this was such a useful editing tool, have just reverted back but not something I do lightly as I much prefer to keep right up-to-date. Please, please bring it back
